The Efficiency Coach was engaged by the director of a small team, responsible for the majority of it’s organisation’s procurement spend, to help his team achieve more for its money. The director had identified that his team lacked the interpersonal skills to be able to manage it’s supplier base to achieve the right level of service and value for money. Together with the team the Efficiency Coach designed and facilitated a three month blended learning programme which maximised opportunities for his team to learn on the job and minimised time in the class room. As a result of the programme the team was able to deliver the required targeted cost savings with no disruption to the quality and level of service required by the organisation.
